Estate Agents to enjoy access to instant info

08/10/2007
One of the difficulties estate agents have once a property sale is agreed is finding out how the legal process is proceeding.  Has the contract been signed by the seller and buyer?   Can we tell other enquirers the property is sold and direct them towards available stock?   When is completion date?

Traditionally this involves regular telephone chasing with the frustrations that brings of unavailability and calls not being returned.    Worse still agents sometimes do not know sales have fallen through until ambushed by disappointed sellers contacting them unexpectedly.

For agents handling sales for clients of Wilson Nesbitt solicitors these problems are now over.    The firm has launched WNLive on www.wilson-nesbitt.com.

Gilbert Nesbitt senior partner of Wilson Nesbitt Solicitors said "WNLive brings live case tracking detail of case histories, milestone achievement, upcoming events and management information analysis as a free dedicated service to all estate agents and brokers whose clients or customers are interacting with us.      Once clients sign a consent form agents and brokers will be emailed login and password details so they can enter WNLive"

He added "Essentially agents and brokers can now instantly see exactly what our conveyancers and their clients are doing at any point throughout the transaction by viewing our case management system in real time.   They can participate in and help drive transactions forward by use of an online ticketing email process.  This information flow will help estate agents and brokers improve the efficiency of their operations and empower them to directly police and measure the quality of our performance."

Wilson Nesbitt is the largest local law firm employing over 120 graduates, making or receiving on average 60,000 phone calls each month and advising on title, contract, security, planning and environmental issues in more than 1200 property transactions each month.
