Solicitors in Northern Ireland 'should recommend house purchases'
According to a property firm, times when the housing market are uncertain are a good time.
Miller Homes said that as the property market has been the best investment over the past few years, after a certain period, it is likely to pick up again.
The company, which is based in the East Midlands, pointed out that unless sellers are downsizing their property, it does not really matter how much houses cost because no equity is released.
Joy Goodman, sales director for the firm, said that "underlying demand" is still in the market and the number of houses being built is not enough to satisfy requirements.
According to Experian, demand for property in Northern Ireland has increased rapidly in the last couple of years - with a growth in house prices of 24 per cent in the last year - and despite a slowdown in the property market, is likely to do so again
