Wilson Nesbitt entered the inaugural 2004 Belfast Business Awards and were delighted to be highly commended in the Excellence in Business Practice Award and were even more delighted when Wilson Nesbitt won the Innovative Use of IT Award.

The Innovative Use of IT Award identified and celebrated companies that put technology at the heart of their business – and see improved performance, and increased sales and profits as a result.

The judges were seeking to identify companies that have been galvanised and transformed by the effective use of information and communications technology.

In particular, the judges looked for:

A clear and innovative strategy
Imaginative use of internal and external resources.
Powerful and measurable results – such as additional sales, access to new markets, or enhanced productivity and/or profitability.
