Open for Business – Wilson Nesbitt response to COVID-19

To our clients & suppliers.

We want to take this opportunity to assure you all that we are fully operational and diligently prepared to respond to the challenges that the COVID-19 virus will present in the days and weeks to come.  We are very confident in our Business Continuity Plan (BCP), which has historically been tested bi-annually, and which we are now evolving in response to the advice being provided by the Government and Public Health authorities.   We envisage minimal disruption to our ability to deliver exceptional levels of service to existing and new clients.

Wilson Nesbitt has for years led the way in the use of robust certified IT systems which are at the heart of a modern client focused  service.  Our extensive investment in IT puts us in an optimal position to deal with the current challenges. Over the years our management teams have often worked from home.  Our staff can work remotely with secure access to our case management systems, individual work email accounts and digital phone system which enable them to proactively progress their cases and update clients and third parties.

The health and wellbeing of our staff, clients and our suppliers continues to be our number one priority. We are very aware that everyone has family, friends and co-workers who fall within higher risk categories and we would ask that you work with us to make the largely minor, but necessary adjustments, that help to minimise these risks as follows:-

  • Where possible please send documents to us by email (as opposed to post) so that they can be accessed more efficiently in the event of a more extensive implementation of home working.
  • We are actively encouraging the use of telephone and conferencing arrangements and continue to be contactable by telephone and email. If you have a pre-arranged face to face meeting with us please speak to your usual contact to ensure a responsible choice is made to minimise the risk of spreading infection.
  • We would ask for your understanding in the event of self-isolation or illness of your Wilson Nesbitt contact. Our team have been briefed on how and when to employ self isolation measures and our case management software and internal procedures will allow for your case to be progressed by another member of the team with minimal disruption.

If we can do anything to assist or support you during this uncertainty please do contact us.
