New apps to help income tax self assessment

HMRC have launched a series of new apps to assist with record keeping for small businesses in Northern Ireland and the UK. The apps which are mostly free will complement existing HMRC record keeping guidance and tools and help taxpayers keep their self assessment records in order. HMRC can charge considerable penalties for taxpayers who do not keep adequate records and these new apps could be another resource to help taxpayers avoid unnecessary penalties.

If you think your business records are not up to standard and you require some advice please contact Wilson Nesbitt Solicitors based in Belfast, Northern Ireland and talk with one of our tax advisors by calling 0800 840 9288.
