Tony Curtis daughters to challenge Will

Two daughters of Hollywood actor Tony Curtis, who died six months ago, are planning to challenge his last Will which left them with nothing, despite reassurances by the actor that they would both receive money from estate upon his death.

Mr Curtis's sixth wife, Jill Vandenburg, is to receive all of the £37million estate by virtue of the Will written just 5 months before the death of her husband. The Will expressly states that the actor had "intentionally and with full knowledge chosen not to provide for [his children] in this last will and testament". However, his daughters Kelly and Alexandra claim that previous wills included gifts in their favour, and their mother suggests that his capacity may have been affected by strong painkillers which he was on towards the end of his life.

Kelly Curtis has already launched legal proceedings and Alexandra is said to be considering doing the same. The actor had other children, but no others have declared any intention to join the battle over his estate.
